I have a 11kg cylinder in my motorhome and set off in July for France and Spain we use gas mostly in Aires or wild camping places for the fridge/cooker/grill and a little for hot water and after a fill before leaving and coming back 5 weeks later it is still not empty so very economical for us , not sure if it makes any difference to consumption but it is butane we use and never had a problem with freezing in winter temp. of -8 . Hope this helps.
