Hi Grumparse, (my kids wanted me to call myself something similar your your 'handle' )
The load of a TV and a DVD player on 240 volts will not be heavy so I would suggest a 2 way adapter would be fine.
Why not, if space allows though, don't you fit instead, a double 240 volt socket in place of the sngle one currently there ? Just make sure you disconnect from the mains before swapping the wires over first. ( I don't like those double and triple adapters, as they tend to fall out due to their weight, and the 'pull' of the cables.)
