ok, after a few years of toying with the idea of buying a small camper to travel to our mobile on the vendee, i have finally done it!!! we used to use the inlaws coachbuilt a few years ago, but it was really too big for our purposes. we mainly want to use the camper to explore a bit further afield along our route and away from our mobile, not really looking to spend more than one or two nights in it at a time and certainly not a full holiday !!! so now i need to listen to you hardened campervanners especially when picking your brains for free/cheap overnight areas en route from calais to the vendee. to start we arereally looking for a couple of sites that are around the abeyville area pref a small village with restaraunt BUT the boss insists that there is a decent clean toilet, so we may need to look at municipal sites, we once stayed in Wissant town square as advised at the local tabac, had a great meal in the town etc, but i cant remember if there public toliets etc (we had on board facilities!!) anyway, any advice/suggestions welcome - we particularly like the idea of parking in the town centre for free and spending a few euros on dining out !!!
