Ive taken my folding satellite dish off my motorhome and I am thinking of putting it on my new motorhome. I have got a 12 volt sky box and with out the veiwing card theres not many channels to choose from, so heres my questions.
1. Is it worth putting back on as I have freeview?
We use a non-sky receiver box which gives us a huge choice of satellites and channels. After the novelty had worn off, we have stopped "searching" the channels on offer from each satellite and just use Astra 2 for the usual "Freesat" and common UK available choice. A previously owned, top of the range reciever box (foolishly sold with our last motorhome.......) had something like 2,800 plus channels to choose from ! Too much choice? We actually find Freesat choice is plenty but then we do not have Sky or similar at home. We also watch loads more DVD's in the caravan than we do at home.

you may need a software update, it tells you how in the instruction manual, you could contact your installer, Jacksons have excellent help if you used them
Does it work if your vehicle is in the position it was in when the installer set it up?
Have you checked there are no loose bolts on the arm and dish?
