Hi all
Got a bit of a dilemma!

After using a cheapish awning all of last year it was about knackerd
So I bought the outwell country road with carpet and sleeping pod.

A great bit of kit but when I put up in the garden it was a bit of a faff and took 30 40mins too get up with help.

As my style of camping is shooting away last minute for one or two nights in my van I was thinking should I eBay an unused country road and go for the quicker to pitch vango air beam awning

Thoughts???

Andy

I'd add the khyam motordome to your list of possibilities - though it has a lot of pegs for overnight stops.. For quick get aways plus small awning, the Quechua base seconds, though not an awning in the true sense, is nice. I have both, Quechua for short overnights, khyam for 2 nights plus.

I'd looked at the country road before buying the khyam - I'd still buy the khyam now for ease of pitching

For short stops, the Quechua is put to good use - though it will collapse in the snow !
