Hi I have just acquired a 2001 hobby 600 built on a fiat ducato. It has the two rear bunks. There is no manual with it and for the life of me I am unable to find the fresh water dump valve! Does anyone have any knowledge of this model or even better a handbook?
cheers!

Ah that's interesting! What literally where you fill it on the outside or do you mean from inside the van?

Inside the van.I lift up the cushions and the tank is under them. Then I unscrew the cap pop hand in and find the valve which just pulls out.

Hi, mine is a 2007 600 and the damp valve is next to the pump under the fixed bed, be sure to put a clothes peg under the plunger if going out in this weather, once on site with heating on its no problem

We don't have a Hobby but just to clarify, are we talking about the "Freshwater" tank DRAIN tap or the "boiler dump valve"..?

If it's as "neverenoughtime" says, then it sounds odd to have a drain tap fitted within a tank....
If however you mean the boiler drain valve, then it may be like "wineiccio" says...however as yours is older, instead of an "auto dump" valve,it may well be a simple manual type.(..with a yellow toggle..where "Up" is to empty)

Thanks for the replies just to clarify it is the freshwater.I know where the red boiler dump valve is.And as Wineciccio said I needed the clothes peg on at the weekend!
Further problems were that the pump kept on running but no water was coming out despite the fact that there was plenty of water in the boiler tank when I dumped it.Surely that should have still come out of the taps even if the fresh water tank was empty?

Huumm you really got me thinking now, I may have to try that with mine and see what happens, but like you said and rightly so the water should have come come out of the taps??

You’re the one with a manual! It’ll say where the tank is, surely. And there’ll be its filler on the outside of the MH.

Manual is vague! I know where the filler is; the tube goes down and back… manual says “under the various hatches!

I only want to know where the fw tank, and drain valve is!
Hobby dealers I have tried don’t know!
Hobby in Germany on holiday…
Kafka…

Found! The two hatches between the mid seats simply lift out-not screwed down! Under middle hatch-two white big bungs. Under these-under the water-two black bungs to drain tank! Huzzah!
There seems to be an overflow hose back up to filler-still overflows-will try to unbung!!!
