Hi, I'm a bit confused. How are you going to use a charger if you have no mains access? Condition of your battery will depend on its regular use and charging etc. this helps keep it in good nick. that's what a Ctek or similar battery conditioner does. It discharges and charges to a set program when connected to your battery and the mains supply. Sounds like your winter option will be to remove the battery to your home and look after it there. The Ctek would be a good choice and could be left to get on with it. Buy the best and most powerful (amps wise) you can afford. I also suggest you read up on looking after lead acid batteries on the internet. lots of good info available. Best of luck.. AB13
