Hi I have just purchased a Bessacarr motorhome with a Fiat Ducato 2.8 turbo diesel engine. There is a red warning light on for the injector system but it doesn't seem to detract from its running. Any ideas please.
Are you sure it's an injector light? and not the water in fuel filter warning light, if it's the latter there is a drain plug at the bottom of the filter. Filter is located on the n/s bulkhead behind the air filter box
Thanks Mick, no it is the injector symbol shown in the handbook, seems I am not the only one to have this happen and the previous owner says it has been on for the last 4 years. Cheers Dave.
Try this and see if it disappears, put the ignition on, press the clutch and brake pedal at the same time , hold for a few seconds switch off. few seconds switch back on and see if it has gone out.
