The park & ride is operated by a local bus company and was always a white elephant. Only a third full at the best of times. Because they charged per passenger on the bus, If there were four of you it was the same price as parking in the town centre carparks with out the hassle of a bus trip, so shoppers didn't us it and as it used to lock the gates at 5.30pm workers didn't either. They've stopped taking motorhomes as they are reinventing themselves as err !! "something else" It will soon have a train station for London commuters and charges will probably go up. Just to add to the chaos we endure on a daily basis the council have installed numerous sets of traffic lights on the Birmingham road causing gridlock to a once free running road and they are planning more. If after reading this you still want to visit try and approach on the old Warwick road. As soon as you join the inner ring road you take the first turn left into the motorhome carpark behind the Leisure/Swiming centre which is quite good and not to far from the town. It is quite noticable that the local decision makers have nice houses and cars, just saying. Rant over pieface
