We do not get a good reception on our radio (the make is Blaupunkt) in our Fiat Ducato Swift Sundance 590rs motorhome. This is probably because It has no external aerial. The bed is over the cab and there is no fixing for an aerial on the bonnet of the cab. What can we do about this?

Hi sallyswift, do you mean you get no reception when you have the radio on when the m/h is stationary, if this is so you could use the tv for radio if it has free view.

The problem is that the radio reception is quite bad at times whether when driving or stationery. It is a good radio when working ok but suddenly it will lose reception and we are unable to retune it. At first we thought it was because we didn't understand how to use the radio and the manual is so difficult to understand! But we have both persevered with it and come to the conclusion that the bad reception is due to no outside aerial.

Now i come to think of it with have no outside aerial and our radio works ok so i think there must be an aerial some where under the bonnet.
so maybe you have a lose connection at the back of the radio.
