Hi Luke',are travelling down in one hit?
...we've been going since 2005 and ever since having a camper'/MH we've tended to stay over at a CL the night before and fill up there..
Last year we stopped over at CL in Chedder:

Having said that, prior to them switching to opening on the Thurs afternoon and still opened first thing Friday, we stayed at a couple of CLs very local to the festival..
(Gosford Park- Ottery St Mary and Beer Farm- Broadhembury, Honiton, were a couple..but sorry I haven't got their full details anymore)
If you can't use CLs(as not members of CC)then we've used this as an M5 stopover a few times:

...and just an "easy" 10-15mins off J13. (...Although it's still a fair trawl down to Escot!)..there will undoubtedly be something closer...
As Sdc777, says petrol stations would be an option(although I've never filled up at one myself)..
Personally, when heading to festivals, I always tend to want sufficient water with us(just in case the festival supply is hit'n'miss),even if that means travelling with fullish tanks..
(..although it does seem a crime to be wasting valuable "beer-payload" on water!? )
Sorry to have waffled on about stopovers we've used ... rather than where you can get your water...
