We have a problem.
We have a Vauxhall Movano van which is due to be converted at the end of March. One of the reasons for doing a custom conversion was to have double glazed glass windows in the living area - much better for using binoculars than acrylic windows, which give very odd effects!! We had sourced excellent windows from Leisure Vehicle Windows and these were due to be completed very shortly .... BUT the double glazer who puts the glass together has gone out of business! LVW are doing their best to resolve the problem but are not hopeful.
I gather that this is rather clever double glazing, requiring curving glazing bars round corners and specialist resin sealing techniques.
Do any of you know anyone who:
(a) makes double glazed units (fixed or sliding) for vans?
(b) does specialist double glazing of glass with curved corners?
Can anyone help?
