Brownhills have been awarded Rapido export dealer of the year. Shame there after sales team are not as good as the sales team, we e-mailed them three weeks ago over a warranty issue with our van still waiting for a reply.

Although i agree this is totally unaceptable, what is wrong with a good phone call?
Already tried the phone call method, no one ever available at the moment the usual answer. Our issues are not major ones just things that should be put right under the warranty. The main issue we have is the fact that three days into a European trip the habitation water pump failed, had to locate a Truma dealership, purchase a new pump and install it. We have the receipt for 75 euros what it cost and we feel its only fair that we should be reimbursed.
Yes, you should get that reimbursed. We bought a Hymer from Marquis last year, it had a 3 year warranty when we got it, and whilst in France the starter motor failed! Must say Marquis were very good, we got in touch with them via email, they rang us back straight away, told us to do whatever was necessary, keep the receipt and on our return they'd reimburse us. In the event a new starter motor was required which we paid for (ouch €575!!) They were as good as their word and we got a cheque back in no time.
Oh my every time I hear the name Brownhills I get flashbacks of the apalling after sales and servicing dept, we bought a 2008 autotrail from them with many teething problems and we lived 90 miles away from their Newark centre. On many occasions our m/h was booked in we arrived and they didnot complete the work on time , we ended up going direct to Autotrail at Grimsby to get the repairs done..
We have recently purchased another Autotrail from Spinney Motorhomes of Holmes Chapel where we have had first class service
