We wave, well most of the time but some MH's sneak up on us too quickly and we're getting on a bit now!
We've a coachbuilt and I think we get more waves back from other coachbuilts.
If you don't read forums you're not likely to learn of the waving protocol so maybe that's why many don't wave, also I think there are more rentals these days so they may not know either
I always try to wave if I am driving, although I am terrified of driving the van on any road smaller than major A roads so please don't be offended if I don't see you on the thinner B roads or streets with parked cars,
I always wave from the passenger seat when I am in my rightful place.
I often forget though and wave at motorhomes when I am driving my car
------------- Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
I'm currently travelling through France and I try to wave at oncoming motorhomes (safety permitting). I'd say about 75% wave back.
However, the French motorhomers don't seem to be as friendly when parked up. I'm lucky if I get a bonjour!
We wave in our motorhome............really suprised a tiny little camper van the other day cause they got all excited and both of them waved BOTH hands !!!!
Must have made their day.
------------- Love an all over tan
Naturists have nothing to hide
Always wave..its fun and those who don't are obviously not as happy and chilled out as those who do, or they're just "too posh to party" ... Have to say, Hymers usually those who don't, but got quite a few French waves this year whilst we were there....as they say on Strictly..Keeeeeep waving . 😁
