Hi everyone, we headed off on the Wednesday to have a look around (and find the bargain Safari chef!) Found 3 outlets with the Safari, all starting at higher 'Printed Price Marks' and then altered down (lovely word that...DOWN) to a lower price as the guy next door lowered his!. Some way across the hall 17 was Border Leisure, and it would seem their price started lower than the others, and remained so. So spent our cash with them. £65.00. Happy, and they looked after it for us until we decided to leave. Only went into 'vans that WERE WE thinking of changing, would be on our 'interested list' . Came away from that section happy with what we have!. No cost! The wife met an interesting couple of men ( not as a couple , please understand) who it seems were also looking at 'vans with drop down beds...we/they trailed around and had interesting banter together whch made a longish day very friendly, and interesting. We lost them among the German vans and never met up again. Just how they got on we shall never know. We took our own food and sat and eat in the attrium. This is something we would not ordinarily do, but on previous years found grub to be seriously expensive, but have to sayvery nice. But with nowhere to sit and eat it , even within the place purchased.
Thanks for all of your thoughts on the cadac.....we did see loads of folk with them, mostly the Cari Chef (CARRY Chef...Ha Ha) We also bought a 'camper' van cushion, 3 pairs of pants for me!!!! and 4 cheeses from Snodonia. Had to tear the wife away from the stall selling Radio Controlled Helicopters though. Told her she did not like heights! Not a big spend, nothing outrageous, and a lovely day. The two 'ol boys the wife met...did not come home with us!, seems they don't like bed making up with cushions, and the 'drop down' variety were either very expensive for the quality job, or cheap and cheerfull for the others. Easy peasy decission to make.
