growing old is compulsory;
acting old is optional.
Most campsites in European countries use the same Blue/white plug that we do but some campsites still use 2pin euro plug so just take a european adaptor, you can buy one at any caravan shop in the UK or Go Outdoors, ebay etc.this There are actually 2 types of euro plug but ones you get nowadays are dual purpose with both side & central earth so you only need one adaptor.
The only place I have come across with a different adaptor to that mentioned above is Switzerland where some sites still use an odd shaped plug. However no need to worry as these sites will rent you an adaptor for the length of your stay. I have added a picture below.
I found the same type of plug as David at a campsite in Liechtenstein last year, but as David says, there is no problem as the site will rent you one (provided you leave a 25 euro deposit in cash)
Switzerland & Liechtenstein are the only countries in mainland Europe that I have found these out of the ordinary plugs.
I stopped at L'Anse du Brick this year and needed an adapter,some posts needed one some didn't. I have stayed on several municipal sites where on was required.
