i used to have a harley-davidson motorcycle, i purchased it in 2007 and it had been fitted with replacement whitewall tyres, ( made by avon) i was riding it on the motorway when the front end started to wobble so slowed onto the hard shoulder and everything seemed in order, so rode straight back to the dealers, where the tech rode it and put it in the workshop, it was only when they tried to balance the wheel they could see the tyre slipping on the rim, they replaced with genuine h-d tyres straight away. so yes it can happen turnout the avon tyres were not designed for the weight.

YES! Even including electric cars!

They all 'use' the road, therefore the road need maintaining.

Why the pantomime in London decided to change to it 'emissions tax' I don't know....

It isn't called a road fund licence anymore it is now just a tax disc and I presume it will soon not even be a disc.
