I was just about to post about the same subject. I have seen a review for Gelert which says they blow down very easily. So can anyone make any recommendations please.

Try WINDBREAK LEISURE- not cheap but excellent. Had mine 8 years and not one tear or breakdown at all.

I use a stripy beach kind, very strong and as yet have not blown away. We have had them for over 8 years and are great.

I believe that you cannot beat Blue diamond.
steel tips and top ferrels on poles, awning channel at one end, plastic locating clips, cloth fabric, choice of colours and choice of length.
We have had a seven pole green one for 4 years and it is still like new.
classy but not cheap
