Good morning all. Need your help and advise please.
We bought a MH in March. Now due to health reasons we need to sell it. We put it on eBay last night and have it on gum tree and pre loved are these the best places to sell do you think? Could well do without the stress of selling to be honest by hay oh these things are sent to test us hey.
I am sorry to hear of the reasons you need to sell - A number of motorhome dealers offer a brokerage service where they sell on your behalf from their forecourt and charge you a percentage of the sales price - this may be a less stressful way of selling without dealing with all the tyre kickers.
Good luck
Guy.
------------- It's only an expensive hobby when it's parked on your Drive....use it, love it , live it.
We already had one of them made us an offer without even seeing the van which was a good offer we got all excited then he left a message to say he changed his mind without even seeing the van lol some people hey. I guess we could try that if no movement on eBay in a couple of weeks only put it on last night it's a brilliant van and on at a fare price also. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
So sorry to hear that Ashley - happens all too often.
We notice quite a lot of nearly new MHs at main dealers - often with less than a couple of thousand miles on clock, not always P/Ex vans.
We sold a van to dealer a few years ago - got a very good price despite not buying another from them. So it is worth trying, especially if a popular model as you will avoid all the hassle dealing with private buyers and some so-called freelance dealers. (Will meet you in the pub car park Guv'.)
Hope the health probs improve - thinking of you.
Ian
