Hi, I got one of these when I bought my camper. All works fine apart from the fact that it seems to be too high. ie, the black parts (Which indicate groundsheet level) are about 2 inches above the ground. Whatever adjustments I do it seems to make no difference, so when you fit the G/sheet there is still a gap of a couple of inches or so.

Anyone have any ideas please?? (I do have photos)

Hi, thanks for your reply but its the awning on it's own that I cant seem to set up properly. I'll see if I can attach a couple of photos which will make things a lot clearer...cheers

Number 7 implies the poles are adjustable?

1. Lay the out the tent with pole sleeves facing up.
2. Take each pole and feed through the sleeves. Always push poles. Once all poles are through the fly sheet start to make the loop. Take the rear pole first and insert the end ferrule into the pin on the webbing ring.
3. Repeat with the two other poles.
4. Now peg out the guy lines.
5. Pull the rest of the tent back to make the sides taut and then peg out. Adjust the pole tensioning straps (at the pin and ring buckle) to take the slack out of the flysheet.
6. Now peg out. Make sure the poles are in a straight line to the vertical seams on the tent flysheet.
7. Now take the sprung metal poles and assemble them into one length per pole, adjust to shortest length. With both of them constructed feed them inside the tent in line with the ties on the sidewall above the ventilated windows. Extend the pole to take up some of the slack through the side of the tent. Once any slack is taken out of the side of the tent tighten the clamp on the side of the pole tube.
8. Fit the inner tent (if required). Peg out groundsheet.
This is taken from the instruction book, I've shorten it bit. Also I guess you are going to attach it to the van. I use the pole provided and the clamps and attach it to either the gutter or the clamps under the roof of the van. I attach it after I've put the poles through, before I erect the tent. You could also use figure of eight.

Hi, thanks for the reply but number 7 refers to 2 poles which fit in the roof part, these are adjustable with a little clamp thing.
Thank you for trying though I do appreciate it. I still cant quite suss this out myself though...

I does look as if the poles are too long, doesn't it?....

I'd be showing the seller those photos...because you may find that others have also had problems..?

(..if you feel that you've  had it too long to return it, then maybe look at shortening the poles..a few inches off either end?..maybe..?)
