Guys just a quick question does the leisure auxillary battery charge of the engine running,i.e. when you are travelling or does it charge up when you plug into the mains....thanks in advance...
drove back today from the north west to the midlands and the leisure ,auxillary battery did not charge up,will plug the motorhome into the mains tmmrr and see what happens....If I have got a problem does anyone know who are the best people I can speak to regarding this matter in the west midlands.....
sorry to be a pain,I have a swift lifestyle 630L 2006 model, inside above the door there is a button for the battery settings what setting should this be on in order for the engine to charge the leisure battery....does anyone know please...thanks
Also is it possible with an adaptor to plug a motorhome directly into the mains at home....apologies if this seems a daft quaestion, but I am new to this.....

Hi most motorhomes are wired so that the leisure battery is
charged on a split charging system, to double check if you happen to have an electrical test meter check the battery voltage with the engine off, and then start up the engine and read the voltage again and it should show an increase
usually between 13.5 to 14 volts, hope this is of help.
Check your control panel. Mine has a rocker switch marked "towing/on site" - this switch is turned to "towing" to charge the LB whilst driving and "on site" to charge it from EHU.
Another question when the mains are plugged in on your motorhome, how long does it take the auxilary battery to charge up as I am still struggling with this does anyone have a swift lifestyle 630L around 2006 model, was just wandering if there is a switch or something that I am not getting right...thanks again in advance and sorry to be such a pain,
