We are looking for a decent size bathroom, double bed, not fixed so we don't loose living space and separate sleeping for teenage boy and girl, there is no way they will share a double bed. Any ideas gratefully received. Used to have a bailey caravan that had all that but can't find a similar layout in motorhome. Thanks.
We have a roller team 6 berth with king size over cab bed, a dining area that converts to a double bed and a u shaped lounge that also changes to a king size bed. The bathroom has separate shower and a separate toilet and sink area. Ours is a 2004 but they still make the same layout in the new models. When we purchased ours 5 years ago we had one boy and one girl and it worked brilliant for use. There is also two full seat belts and two lap belt on the dining area so it can be classed as a true 6 berth as 6 people can travel in it legally.
We love with layout so much and also the spec of the roller team we r considering the same layout but a newer model and we don't have two kids coming away with us anymore but we like the spacious feel of this layout.
loads of different layouts out there but one thing to remember is with your family of 4, storage is the key to a happy holiday so do look for one with a garage or space above the cab because you wont have the car to pile things in i know only too well swapping caravan and car for in effect one vehicle with 4 people youll have chairs tables clothes along with food games and entertainment etc
We have a 1998 Fiat Ducato Granduca, it has a large King size over cab bed, main dining table & seating converts to a large double bed, then a further dining table & seating at the rear converts to a large single bed. This layout is also great for the kids as there are 2 seperate tables. It has a large bathroom with separate shower cubicle, flush toilet & sink. Loads of overhead storage, wardrobes, cupboards, under seats etc & 4 travelling seats with proper seatbelts (not lap belts) We have just put this up for sale so contact me if you are interested. Thanks

just discovered somthing better than camping....a motorhome :-)
We have a Dethleffs Sunlight A69 - longways bunk beds a decent size bathroom that allows privacy for changing and a very large double over the cab.
The bunks are pretty much fill size and allow for excellent storage accessed via a "garage door" on the side.
We are considering our next van and are very impressed with the iteneo range of family A class vans - iteneo are a sub brand of Rapido and to my knowledge the only main stream manufacturer of A class vans with bunks for families.
------------- It's only an expensive hobby when it's parked on your Drive....use it, love it , live it.
Watch out with iteneo motor homes - local dealer stopped selling due to damp problems/water ingress...they are cheaply made vans so you get what you pay for.
