Well and truly "had" last week. Dealer knocked on door "Is your 'van for sale?" etc etc etc. Sent me indoors for a rag so he could "check the oil" but realised too late that he must have loosened a plug. Engine sounded really ropey and he knocked £500 off his offer (which I accepted). I still might have had the last laugh - my local mechanic reckoned the suspension and steering will both need serious work soon.

dodgy dealers are the worst nightmare of any one i had one that sold me a very dodgy van and by the time i found out it was to late to do any thing but still trying , i hope your not in Oxfordshire or near there as there is a very dodgy dealer there ,
