could anyone please advise me how or where i can obtain a manual for a renault traffic 1987 or similar. I have looked on Ebay and tried the Haynes website and that states that there was no manual made for a renault traffic...any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I have one of these for my 1992 2.1 diesel Trafic, the one I have only covers the engine but looking at the site they do have one that covers other mechanical parts.
I bought mine from the Peterborough show.

Try the Renault Trafic Motorhome Register (basically a Renault Trafic owners' club). at www.rtmr.org. They have a Yahoo group you can join if you're a member (£10 p.a.) and there's bound to be somebody there who can help with almost anything Trafic-related. We joined last year when we got our Trafic and went on a rally in October and they seemed like a really nice crowd and only too willing to help. Members also get a voucher for a discount on the Russek Manual!
Thankyou for your help and advice, i will be checking through the detais you have given me, i will also be joining the RTMR club because as a newbie to all this I welcome all advice and at £10 p.a, im sure it will be worth our while.
Look forward to seeing you at one of the rallies. There's one in (I think) Harrogate in September but we're not sure if that's a bit far for us just for a couple of nights. I'm sure you'll get answers to all your questions from them though.
Sorry i have been a long time replying been busy studying. I took your advice and joined the RTMR club we have recieved our membership and newsletter this week. I have not accessed the website yet but will do in next few days. i noticed in the newsletter that there is a rally in wales in aug/sept we have booked to stay in wales at saundersfoot at that time so will probably drive up to meet some members of the club. I was very wary of buying a MH, but everyone has been so helpful and friendly with some excellent advice, it is not as daunting anymore. However we are still novices and have a long way to go.
Glad you joined. I'm sure you'll find it useful. Let me know what name you join with on the Yahoo group so I know who I'm talking to!
I think we've decided that Harrogate is too far for a weekend but we're not sure about Abergavenny yet. We're going to be down that way in June so we're going to see roughly how long it takes us before we decide. I'd like to go if we can because we haven't been to one since October - we were supposed to be going to the New Year's Eve rally but the van wouldn't start.
Again sorry for the delayed reply, this time due to a disfunctional pc, working ands studying. Unfortunately im having trouble gettin access to the RTMR site through google, im waiting for an acceptance email from frank, maybe he is on holiday. i have tried several times but as i say the pc is now on its last legs, awaiting a new one this weekend AT LAST!
We have had several weekend breaks since we bought the van. I have fell in love with the peak district. I have 8 weeks holiday to come at the end of june (long awaited) so hopefully we will get a fair amount of travelling in then. We are goin to Pembrokeshire for two weeks at the end of july.
How long have you had your van, have you been to some nice places, you could maybe advise us on.
thanks von
p.s my name will be vonnie or vonandfred thats if the email arrives.
