Anyone know of a campervan for sale, up to £30,000 in the S E England area. Must be under 18 ft long and fit under car park restrictions, with pop up roof. 4 seat belted seats required. Good condition only. Got a bit fed up running around all over the country looking!

You appear to be looking for a VW T5 camper with lowline lifting roof which narrows your search down to one vehicle type, I think because apart from Merc Vito I can't offhand think of any other vehicle that fits your criteria & in terms of low depreciation a T5 is probably best bet.

Yes there are loads of T5s on ebay being sold by small converters which may or may not be well made so to narrow your search down still further try well known converter Bilbos in Surrey which appears to have some used stock in your price range. The Autosleeper Trooper looks ok.

Have a look at Sussex Campervans at Horsham. They can offer the VW versions but also a Nissan NV200 campervan. Should be within budget.

Just as a couple of side notes:

If looking at getting under low barriers, just be aware that not all VW "pop tops" will. I think I read that one converter(possible Bilbos?)spec's vans/vehicles with lower suspension to help in this respect?...

Also, be mindful of "unknown" converters. Judging by forum chatter, there seems to be quite a few rough(some even dangerous)conversions being carried out.

Nothing wrong with small convertors as such ...but just make sure that you check out their "credentials".

Take a look on here T4 T5 Forum Have a look through some builds and also in the for sale section, its Europe's biggest VW camper forum.
It will give you an idea of what you want, also any problems from these vans and if these are the type of vans you want, also lots of recommended converters and the finished products.
