Feb 2 applied for my over 70 licence to drive 7.5 tons and to my surprise it came back yesterday Feb 9 what a great service ; but not everyone has had such a great response BUT PRAISE WHERE IT IS DUE.

I also did mine a couple of weeks ago and got it back all correct and ship shape with the correct groups a few days later

I reach 70 next March, how soon can you have the medical & apply for your license? We usually go to Spain for the winter for 3 months anytime from the end Dec. to April, having my birthday in March makes it awkward for planning our trip. What is the medical like, can't re-plate our van to 3.5 ton realistically as it would have zero payload. Other option is to consider changing the van this year but like our Rapido A class. If we did have to change I am thinking about the Hymer Exis range, still an A class slightly narrower but also can be uprated if needed.
