I will be visiting them next week to check the actual noseweight on that trailer so that they can build one exactly right as it is often difficult to achieve the correct noseweight with off the shelf trailers.
They are also going to make mine 7' wide rather than the standard 7' 6" so it will fit in my garage.
They have also quoted to fit a motormover and battery etc.
Also this trailer is a tilt bed so does not need heavy ramps to load the car.
You can talk to the boss, Peter Hedley, via
Sales at hedley-towbars.co.uk. They are based in Durham.
Thank you your reply, I live in the north east so will find out where the firm is in Durham and visit them
I seen the smart-trailer on you tube but it looked like it was bouncing up and down a bit whilst being towed.
We've got a Smart Trailer - never had any problems towing it with the Smart Car on it
The ramps are heavy to handle though as we have the ones that lift out to be put in place.
The newer Smart Trailers have ramps that just draw out - far better
hi, nose weight will not be an issue, you can adjust that by moving the car an inch or so each way. what will be the issue however is if your auto trail can tow the trailer and car. michael
I've got the weight issue resolved through a company called SV Tech
Has any one got a trailer from smart-trailer can't find a review re the quality of their trailers
