Hello people of the UKCS. It's been a while since we have been on this site as we had to sell our last MH & many things have happened since then. We now find ourselves in a position again to purchase another 'van' & have been looking at the Autosleeper Warwick 2008/9 not the duo. It's an ideal size for the 2 of us (3 if you include Scruffy) & we love the layout & spec but, we have a concern due to the glass windows. In our home converted Sprinter (glass windowed), Elddis 100 & 3 different caravans (all plastic windowed) we always suffered some condesation first thing in the morning due to sleeping. This was worse in the Sprinter. As we have always wild camped previously in our Elddis & Sprinter & we liked to use them all year round this would be something we would be looking to do again & was wondering if anyone else does this in a Warwick & do you suffer condensation due to the glass windows. We have also read online that the side door leaks. Has anyone experienced this issue.
We would appreciate all positives & negatives on this 'van please.
Thanks.
By the way Scruffy is not a dog he is our cab mascot teddybear. (some people just cant grow up)
Are they single glazed windows? Glass single glazed windows will always have worse condensation than plastic double glazed, due to less insulation. On a cold night interior of glass window will get colder more quickly than plastic & warm breath striking cold surface = condensation.
It may be worth looking at Adria conversion on same van. They have less window area with plastic d/g units. A disadvantage though as being a foreign make they have sliding door on UK offside.
Would you believe we looked at one only last week at a dealer near Lancaster, and the reason we did not do a deal was that the van had some very (my opinion only)minus points, ie, windows as quite rightly you mention but to me/us, the lay out at the back although very appealing it was not for us, ie. the benches were not long enough to make two single beds, so I think I will keep my Trigano 650 a little bit longer.

Thanks Billy, we are aware of the cold glass warm breath = condensation scenario this was why we wondered if someone has a Warwick or any glass windowed 'van & has this problem. We've looked at the adria's but don't want the dinette seating arrangement but thanks for your reply

Well how weird is that?? We were looking at a 650 Tribby only at the weekend as they seemed a good 'van & quite a bit cheaper than there counter parts on the internet. However after playing around with the bed for over 1/2 an hour we gave up as we like to make up a double bed, it's cosier & t'other half likes to snuggle up (women eh). This was what attracted us to the Warwick, the bed is so easy to set up. We did view a Timberland Endevour end lounge at the Newark show, nice van but a bit out of our price range.
you can make the beds in the tribby up very easily and on my own it takes me less then 5 minutes to have it ready and you DO HAVE A CHOICE, 2 singles, a 3/4 double or a massive double, do take another look at one, by the way mine is still for sale if anyone interested. And yes the wharwick is easy to make the double but you still have to make/unmake the bed and you cannot lounge on them comfortably, WE TRIED them out.
