I have a motorhome on a Peugeot Boxer. I'm thinking of getting windscreen covers (it was freezing during our first trip of the season)Now these will set me back about £150 although I've not researched them much as yet.
Do they make much difference because if they do it's worth every penny.
thanks Kim
Wouldn't be without ours. We have a Taylormade version which is slightly longer so that it covers the vents on the bonnet to stop water getting in. They also keep the van cooler in summer as the cab can get very hot without a cover if in full sun. We can drop the centre our ours down to let in more light.
We have thermal outer screens for our van, they are very, very good.
You can get them with a 'privacy screen' which means when you drop the front screen, to let light in, people outside cannot see in but you can see out!
They are expensive new (we have managed to find two sets secondhand-in good condition)
Definitely go for the longer ones for the Boxer, our old van was always getting water into the engine compartment and it sits in a bad place leading to rusting!
They will keep you warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather.
Mine for a Talbot van, which is the predecessor of the Peugeot Boxer, was £129 I think from Silver Screens. Worth every penny. I had the internal ones before and they were rubbish and a real pain to fit.
HI WE HAVE AN ELDISS AUTOQUEST (PEUGOT), WE SOURCED OUR BLNDS OFF EBAY, DON'T THINK THEY COST THAT MUCH I DON'T THINK THEY MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE & THEY DO SEEM TO CREATE A LOT OF CONDENSATION. I THINK THEY WORK BETTER KEEPING VAN COOL IN THE SUN BUT I WOULD STILL WANT TO HAVE THEM
We bought our set for our Talbot for the inside of the van from eBay I think they only cost about £70.. They are brilliant at stopping a lot of the cold AND making it darker than the "see through "curtains..

A little tip if I may. Typing in capitals is considered 'shouting' in this wonderful world of technology.
If you get the chance to try exterior blinds, you'll find the condensation doesn't appear.
Got ours made by Rainbow screens...they have a facebook page where you can see a photo gallery. Really happy with ours we went for thermal and blackout and they are so much better than our previous interior ones.
