Hi,
I recently purchased a 1999 Toyota Hiace campervan (pop up) Can anyone recommend a tailgate bike rack which would fit the rear door? Having done a bit of research it seems that the Fiamma VW T5 rack might be compatible but im not 100% sure. Any advice would be most welcome, thanks, Dani

is it a Japanese spec or the British hiace powervan based model ..?... for my old jap spec hiace I bought a T4 fiamma rack and shortened it I believe people do the same with Bongos so I would reckon that would be you best bet ...?

Thanks for the responses. Jimsmimm, it's a Japanese spec. I'd read somewhere that people have shortened T4s, is it easy to do?

from memory you just have to line it up, cut it and re-drill the holes ..its awkward more than difficult... a good place for info on these vans is the super custom owners forum...link here
