Can anyone advise on insuring your motorhome, if you are already using your no claims discount on your family car. As far as I'm aware you can only use your no claims discount on one vehicle. Any advise is appreciated. Many thanks Dixie

I have car insured with Saga, when I insured a campervan with them as well(ie both vehicles insured with Saga)the price was quite low so I think they also included full no claims. So get a quote from your car insurer if they also do motorhome insurance & you might find they will either include no claims or give you much more favourable quote because you are already insured with them.

Am in middle of getting quotes for m/home which I have had for 5 years and when asked about N C D I stated 5 years for the m/home and max N C D for my car and no one has said "you only get one" as both insured separately with different insurers

I first insured mine with Saga and they gave me the maximum NCD which I was getting on my car.

Our MH insurers "mirrored"(their term) what we had built up on our other vehicle...

..although I do recall with ours at the time, Safeguard, 4 years bonus was the max they gave.? (...whether that was down to them or the underwriters they used, I have no idea?)
