I found the Caravan Club at £68.00 and the Camping and Caravanning Club at £83.25 I could not get into the SAGA web page or the RAC.

Does anyone have a recommended recovery firm?

I use Saga, webpage here its an https page which mobile device may not load from insecure connection. Ring them 0800 015 4752. Vehicle limit is 3.5tonnes, 7metre length.

I've been with them for yrs, called them out a couple of times. Its actually the AA that they send out.

I have been with Europ Assist thru' my Insurance Co, and I know you can purchase b/down direct from them. Unfortunately I have had to call them out a couple of times but no problem either time.

my mate used saga while we were in spain last year . his camper is a daf 45 6,3 ton truck they moved him to a garage for repair. his clutch had gone . they would have recovered him home but we wanted to carry on our tour.

Perhaps Saga have a breakdown policy for larger motorhomes as well? Their normal policy states those length/weight limits. They are pretty helpful. I have car/caravan atm & I spoke to them at length on the phone & they stated they would also attend/recover caravan breakdown or puncture, not just car.

If the op cannot get hold of them online he can phone them to arrange it all, they are very helpful.
