In 60 years of camping and 30 years of Motorhoming cannot recall caravanners using a watering can to supply drinking/washing water to van. Edit: Overlapping years - we not yet 90 ! 😴
(However last month we noticed someone using a watering can for the plants in large tubs surrounding his somewhat enormous awning! (True - at Stowford Meadows in North Devon!))😨

Imho it is more likely that ex caravanners that have perhaps changed to a large motorhome will then continue the customary daily water shifting using aquarolls etc. Nothing wrong with that of course - especially if you prefer to use shower etc in the van. Indeed, this also ensures that there is no queue for the on-site showers for us more transient campers!😀
(We have noticed that the showers on some Caravan Club sites are little used.)

So it is still a water tank about 25% full for us - unless of course we do venture into Morocco next winter! Now the wine storage - that is a different story.

We are all different as 'me Granny used to say.

very true, LMAO

My hose about 8 metres long.

Just normal green garden hose. I fill tank up to the brim, I would guess 100 litres whenever its low.

I even drink the water when out of bottled and never done me any harm.

On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

Hi, I think the smaller hose would be adequate. We spend most of our motorhoming time on the aires in France and you can always get near to the water taps. We move on most days and fill up with water/empty toilet and grey water as necessary. If we do stay longer we have a water carrier and a funnel so that we can top up water without moving the van. Hope this helps.
