Hi, As any one got a coolmycamper air conditioning unit are they any good I have a Bailey 740 7.5m long will it cool it.

Can I use a inverter when they is no electric.

If you look at the specifications you will get most of the answers. However, they suggest you invest in a 700W pure sine wave inverter and then you will find that you only only get 2 or 3 hours before you flatten a 100Ah battery.

Thank you I have an inverter but is pure sine wave inverter.

I have 2 x 110 leisure batteries with solar panels that should help.

If you want an air conditioner, one, 700 watts or a 1000 watts inverter will not run it for long.

I have a "cool my camper" and | would not be without it. I bought it deliberately for a trip to Spain in summer and it really was a godsend. It cooled the air in the van to a very comfortable 20 celsius and it was dry too. Why there is no proper cool air feed into the habitation chamber whilst driving I will never understand.

Forget using an inverter to run an AC unit, the Leasure battery will soon go flat, they really need EHU. Otherwise fit a square fan in your sun roof to draw in the cool night air, mine only uses 1a via the inverter.
