Hi

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Staffordshire/ South Cheshire or West Mids to get our VW T25 campers fridge repaired or replaced... No idea where to start!

Any suggestions gratefully received! Thanks

Any caravan workshop or mobile caravan fitter who comes to your home should be able to replace a fridge. If fridge is as old as the van then a repair at £50/hr labour is probably not worth it. New ones are about £400+labour for fitting.

If you were able to diy you might be able to fix fridge yourself, describe what is wrong with it? Tbh if you want to successfully run a T25 these days you do need a bit of mechanical knowledge, ability to use tools and make running repairs.

If the fridge isn't cooling, it may be that the coolant has crystallised. Sounds daft, but if you take it out and turn it upside down for 24 hours, it should clear it!

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like we might be clamping off the gas point and fitting just a regular small electric fridge. Will be cheaper option than replacing with a 3 way and we always camp with a hook up anyway.
