Just returned from our second trip in our new motorhome and noticed that we have scratched the windows on the passenger side with the bushes that were overhanging into the narrow roads. Can these be removed in any way...
The chap who does my hab-check service and accessory fitting pointed out similar scratches on my windows and advised t-cut as a remedy. - I haven't got around to trying it though yet.
------------- It's only an expensive hobby when it's parked on your Drive....use it, love it , live it.
T-cut may be a bit severe?...after reading the tip online, as daft as it sounds, I used ordinary toothpaste to get rid of the scratches on our previous MH's windows.....
(a tiny section at a time, a soft cloth on a finger tip, worked on ours)
do not USE T CUT that's only for renovating the paintwork on cars (some of them anyway)there is a cream on the market called FARECLA that's the stuff to use, but if the scratches are not very deep then you could use BLUE MER, get yourself a small half litre spray bottle, pour a cupful or two of mere in the bottle and fill up with water ( the cupful I mean the bottle screw top)mix it well by shaking, spray on the window and rub it in with a good cloth, leave it to go to a haze, the just rub it off, by the way this will work on the body to keep it nice and shiny, its what I have been using since seeing the product at a car show about 40 years ago,
