Hi...we have a cobra alarm fitted to motorhome but other half doesnt know how to set so doesnt go off inside with us taking dog with us...any idea

With our Cobra, turn on ignition and then turn it off. Press the alarm button on dashboard till LED flashes once then set the alarm.
Not had any problems with the Cobra but going through this routine is a right pain.

easier than that, just cover the motion sensors with some plastic caps or anything suitable that way they won't pick up any movement, just set the alarm and don't worry about it going off, had that on hobby siesta and never had any problem also in my talisman.

I have to do the same as Wanderer which is a pain so got Heosafe internal door locks and no longer set alarm when we are inside.

Although we have cab blinds fitted, we have put curtains at the back of the cab so when wildcamping or on Aires etc the flashing alarm lights are visible to any lowlife poking around. The visible alarm lights do give me reassurance but wether in practice it make a difference I am not sure. I have also though about door locks but not got round to them yet, must have another look.

If you have the tear-shaped fob with two buttons on, you can just press the large button four times to arm the doors but not the internal sensors. To deactivate, press the small button once. Works for me What is happening is that pressing the large button once activates the full system and the three presses disarms the internal sensors.

Hi Angel34 just joined and we have just had a cobra alarm fitted. remove key from ignition press button on dash within 3 seconds till light stops flashing then set alarm. Pet friendly
