My other half seems to remember a few years ago these were available from a Co called Varta. Googled them but no luck, does anyone else remember them or know where they could be bought from. Thanks.

Circular or round batteries, not a brand name. I believe he read an article about them in one of the mags. Looked through our back copies but no joy.

Varta are a very well know quality battery manufacturer

Proper deep cycle rechargeable batteries used for alarm systems ect are similar to a giant torch battery with 2 screw terminals on the top each battery is 2 volts so you need 6 to supply 12 volts
