In the summer, we went to look at a couple of Autosleeper Symphonys, but were very disappointed with them. Perhaps we were unlucky to see poor examples, but they struck us as being very outdated and drab.
In the end, we splashed out a bit more cash and bought a low mileage Romahome R30 that we're delighted with.
It's a similar size to the Symphony, but has 4 proper seats so can be used (and driven) like a large car.
I appreciate what you mean about engines. Too complicated these days, but having owned 4 previous vans on the Fiat/Peugeot chassis, they've all proved totally reliable.
------------- Two drifters off to see the world.
I'm tired of reality, so I'm off to look for a good fantasy.
