Hi there. Can any of you recommend a breakdown company that we could use to cover our RV A Class Chevy? We plan to be in France for a month, so it would need to cover abroad as well as home. We have insurance separately. When we called AA to us last year (In Britain!) they wouldn't come out as we were "too big" (well, our RV was... I hope!) It's 6.55m long. Thanks everyone!

Hi Brian,

Thanks very much for your helpful response. I actually ended up going with the RAC through the caravanning and camping club... We have insurance separately, so just needed breakdown cover. It was a good deal (I think!) It would have been £400 had we not been members, but we got it for £150. In fact, the RAC said they wouldn't have covered us anyway had we not been members, as we're "too big" (The Chevy, I hope!) Weird that they bend the rules for the club... Not that I'm complaining!   I hope we see you and the big monster on the road some day! There seem to not be many of us... Happy holidays!
