hi all bought motorhome auto sleeper symthony 1997 2.0i petrol 72,000 ml,s only done 1,000 in 4 yr,s bought from couple in wales got it at good price £7000 inside spotless every thing working i knew after getting underneath there was some welding to be done needed new tyres got a great chap here in brid got it on ramps told me new sills needed 4 places needed welding he stripped back to bare metal dropped rear end all front came off spent a week fixing,30 hours stripping down +welding new rubbers on rad. took of rear bumper and step fitted new one i inspected when finished done a fanstastic job even undersealed it with waxhol showed me every thing he,d done engine checked new seleniond, he returned it in spotless condition ive given it a full service plus new ht leads
washed polished trims bumpers used oxytrol like knew now
it drives like a dream and now looks the mutts nuts i am now ready to explore in my retirement ,; happy christmas to you all ; by the way total cost for every thing including goodyear cargo tyres fitted £1600+ a drink

Been there done that rust stuff with our 1993 Autosleeper Clubman, 10 years ago & several times since. We had that expanding foam in our sills. Wise to renew the tyres - we passed the MOT and shortly after had a blow-out on the busy A9 dual carriageway into Perth. Luckily OH wrestled the van into a layby out of the traffic.
I'm sure you'll have some very happy times with Rosie, including some cider no doubt! And don't be surprised if other motorhome drivers give you a wave.
