Hope you all had a good Christmas and have a gret 2016!
Have at long last got off my backside to check out all was well in my M/H, sadly not though!!! Fridge and freezer stopped working and not sure where to go to get it looked at! I am in the Black Country near Dudley, any one out there know where I can contact to get this looked at at a reasonable price??🤔

Has it stopped working on gas and electric? Could just be a dodgy connection needing attention.

If it has stopped working on mains electric but still works on gas & 12v while driving & if all electrical connections are good then probably failed element. Cost of element is around £40. Fridge would have to come out for fitting, so if you cannot diy then probably up to 3hrs labour at commercial rates for fitting. Any caravan workshop near you or a mobile caravan repair service will be able to do the job.

If it does not work on any mode then probably coolant has leaked out & fridge is scrap.

Only problem might be that workshop would be unwilling to undertake work as it might take 2hrs labour to establish fridge is beyond repair. Having to pay for no result is not something customers like so garage may only be willing to install new fridge. If your motorhome is years old & you rely on fridge then new fridge might be a better bet.

you say it stopped working did you have it hooked up and working over Christmas?
Like the OP says check it on gas if it works on gas probably the element they can check this without taking the fridge out and if your lucky some fridge elements can be changed in situ.
