We have a Swift Bel-Air 750, A class motorhome and want to fit a rack to the rear for carrying luggage, chairs, a cadac and table.
Any ideas what to fit?
All I can find is bike racks.

You fit a bike rack then fit a purpose built box to that. Look on Fiamma website, they have boxes to fit their bike racks. Called Fiamma Ultra box, in various sizes.

...and if looking at the rear boxes(but not ever really needing a bike rack?),you could perhaps look at the simple "Wall Box kit" brackets..?

http://www.agentfiamma.co.uk/fiamma-ultra-box-wall-box-kit.html

(...we had an ultra-box, mounted on a bike rack on a previous van...but the rack did stand the box 6"-8" out from the back wall...)

if you can get on the roof ie, via a rear ladder then go for a box on top. ie, it will give you more load, them ones fitted to bike rack are useless as most of bike racks can only carry around 40 to 55 kilos if you are lucky

Thanks for your replies, the chairs are not too heavy, even with the cadac am sure we'll under 40 kilos.
Will look at bike racks without the fiamma box and find some suitable waterproof bag or cover.

Cheers,
Ed

Soft bags for bike racks are also available. Search online, 'Fiamma Cargo Back', ie here.
