not sure if you have the option of breakdown cover but Comfort do this as well and it can cover uk as well as Europe, and its competitive

Just been getting quotes for our new MH. Staveley Head, who we were with previously wouldn't insure anything over £45k, so no good for a new van. Safeguard wanted £440, including AA cover (which we don't need), then said that it would need to have a tracker fitted.

C&CC:£250
CC: £222
Saga: £230

Excess is £150 to £200, and European cover 270 days to unlimited.

It has been an interesting exercise, and hours of my time that I wont get back!!

Try Staveley Head, My deal was just under £400, they

refunded 6 months on pro rata base within a couple    

of weeks when I retired .
