We had a motor home for 11 years ' loved every minute , never crossed our mind to tow another vehicle, used public transport , plotted sites round that.
Always thought you might as well have a caravan.... And that's where we are now ...... Fixed bed, cos me knees can't take going up the ladder to the over cab bed .... And loving it tbh 👍😀

Not easy on public transport with two labrador pups though Brian😁(particularly wet ones)!!!

Each to their own, don't want to start a motorhome v caravan debate, just wanted to update for anyone else thinking about it.

We had a caravan previously, but enjoy the options open to us now.

Good job we all have different likes and dislikes, else life would be boring☺
