Hi All,
I recently returned from a weekend away in my Elddis Accordo 140. When I turned the tap on at the kitchen sink, water was pouring on the floor. Can anyone please tell me how I get to the bottom of the tap to check the pipe connection on this model, the fridge is located directly below the sink so will it need to be removed first or is there a simpler way.
Thanks

I've got a new Elddis Accordo 105 van. Both the kitchen and toilet washbasin waste fittings leaked. They need taking off and gluing with solvent. Had to take the oven out partly to get to mine.

Thanks for the info fleck2, I assume the solvent has to be non-toxic for the fresh water pipe, can you please tell me what you used.
Thanks

Fleck 2, is it just the waste pipes on yours that leak, I suspected that the water supply pipe was the problem on mine because it pluttered when I turned it on then it started to leak on the floor. I'll check both.
Thanks.

Yes just the waste pipe. It's a stupid set up with a female fitting pointing downhill onto a male fitting, AND it's loose!
I just took the fittings off and used normal waste pipe solvent, you know the plastic pot with a brush in the lid, it's clear and stinks. It's supposed to melt the plastic together but it doesn't on these fittings. Put plenty on and leave it 24 hours to harden. When you see how sh1t the fittings are you'll want to check the toilet one. At least that ones easy to get to.

Yes you're right, I unscrewed the chrome part in the sink and the pipe wasn't connected at all. I removed the sink and it gave me easy access, typical Elddis, the pipe was too short that's why it comes off and like you say, it is very loose anyway, I used seal and bond but when I put the sink back in, the pipe just kept popping out again.
I've given up for now but now I know the problem I'll is re-route the pipe to give it more length, and use the pipe solvent you used, should be OK then.
Thanks again for your help which led me in the right direction.
Cheers.
