We have just bought a 2005 Auto Sleeper Neuvo on a Peugeot Boxer.
Has anyone ever used wind deflectors on this type of van? Do they work? I used one years ago on an old car and would love to drive with the windows open in the van, as we became rather hot while driving home in the sun.
Certainly never used them. I take it you mean the ones that sit in the window, made of some sort of plastic. I have also never seen them used on 'vans'. However they used to be used on many, many makes of car, for a long period of time. So given what we both know, the market was there for them all those years ago. I would imagine they would still work now. But are they available now.? Best of luck in your quest.
Yes they are, I have a set on my 2010 ducato, do an ebay search for them, there are 2 advertisers, one set is about £26 the other £48 I got the cheap ones which are exactly the same as the other set.
I have them on a 2004 boxer van and they work a treat, not only good at deflecting wind, you can also have the window partially open when it's raining without getting .. err wet.
They are great until you have to lean out of the window to access a toll machine. Seriously thinking of removing the n/s one. Mind you we try to avoid as many tolls as possible.
