My MH has a 3"(ish) waste pipe terminating in a valve for emptying the grey water tank.

This is great for sites with an MH Service Point but not particularly useful for sites without.

Is there a product available that I can connect to this valve to discharge to smaller drains on a site or the grey water drainage on a services pitch. I've seen connections on caravans for grey waste but the pipe bore is much smaller than my MH drain.

I can find space in the MH to store a few meters of pipe and connector but don't have room for something like a waste master.

I've googled the subject quite a bit but can't see an obvious solution.

Suggestions welcomed

Hi.
CAK tanks usually have most things covered.
http://www.caktanks.co.uk/CAK_Water_Tanks_Accessories.htm

Failing that, if you can undo the last piece of pipe/fitting you want to connect to, then a visit to a half decent plumbers merchants(or even garden centre that deals with ponds?)should find something.

(The waste tank outlet on our previous van, was right under the centre of the van and without a drive-over waste point, was a real pain to get to empty!..and it was too low to add any additional elbows/fittings too)

Corrugated pond piping comes in different widths and is quite cheap!

We just use a a small (as in not tall) bucket. It does not matter the diameter of it. Don't think collapsible buckets though they are quite useless for the job. Our bucket was free and has been in use since 2008, and all it was in its former life, before I decided to use it for this, was the container the O.H. bought the bird feeder suet balls in. Most sites allow waste water to be watered on grass,(not on the pitch though) or along hedges. You are quite correct with the fact that a grey waste waste master is NOT suited to a M.H.

We have a black plastic jerry can, not a big waste master. It travels in the washroom, and has our number plate attached to it so we use it to reserve our pitch when we go away for the day. Draining your waste water on site isn't really good manners, fatty bits & toothpaste on the grass by the next visitor's steps? I wouldn't like it. Along the hedge - sure.

Fiona, I did say not on the pitch. We have often been asked to water the grass, the trees and the flowerbeds as well as along the hedges. Grey waste water on quite a number of sites has to be pumped from the holding tank into a tanker and taken away, in the same way as the black water. If it is not stated that this can be done I ask, and I then follow precisely the answer given. We also never let washing up water down the kitchen sink. The reason being, most,if not all, water drainage pipes (for some reason) is of the type that is hard, and ribbed, just the thing for catching food particles and any other item that will create smelly tanks and pipework.

Thanks for the suggestions, will have a look under the van at the weekend to see if CAK have anything suitable to connect.

Corrugated pipes don't sound ideal as they could be a trap for any small amounts of grease or Coco Pops that might find their way down the system.

If not I'll carry on using the bucket or some careful manoeuvring around sites to get the van waste over the site drain.

the corrugated pipes are only corrugated on the outside, the bore is smooth to assist in the water flow and to prevent the pipe from becoming clogged.
I purchased the fittings from CAK and the pipe from my local motorhome/caravan shop.

If its possible change your waste water outlet tap for a water butt tap and fit a short piece of hosepipe on to the end and then into your receiving bucket/jerry can. That's what I did and it works fine, the "dirty" water is
not being stored in the w w tank. Check out B & Q etc for a waste water pipe/tap connection.
