Hi I would say it's the drains it's the same with us , I close the drivers window the smell gone worth a try , I left open the drain tap on waste water tank I think it's been sucked up though the pipes
Weather wasn't too clever at the weekend so didn't get that chance to try to access the pollen filter (or to check the we definitely have one in the first place). The smell didn't surface at all this weekend though and I wonder if it is because its wet not sunny at the moment.
I'm not sure if it's the drain but we have never used the shower and I think it will be a good idea to get some water down the trap anyway regardless if its the cause or not.
It does not matter whether you have used the shower or not, anything you wash down the kitchen sink will go in the same tank. I spent ages trying to work out the smell in my vans shower, turned out to be the plastic floor mat doh!
Hi Mr Biscuits. It's the drains, Kitchen sink especially, and wash hand basin. There are no traps on motorhome waste pipes so the smell escapes. We always make sure the tank is empty ( especially of sludge) or if this is not possible at the time put some disinfectant down and leave the plugs in when travelling.

I can't remember the circumstance of our tank (a few weeks have passed now ) whether there was anything in our tank. I always drain it when we have been away but may have gotten lazy after a day trip out but we wouldn't have put much to drain.
The smell has not reappeared for a week or two so the tank and wastes are looking the likely culprits.
