I'm so cross! I've had my new van conversion for a week and only just realised the morons at the dealership have put the wrong flipping plates on my vehicle! They've also give the DVLA the incorrect address and diddled me out of a month's worth of road tax. I'm having to go back to the dealership tomorrow as they neglected to fit my rear parking sensors (apparently the part didn't arrive, but they could have let me know).
I'm hoping they will sort all this out tomorrow, because I refuse point blank to go back there again for them to fit the correct number plate. It's bad enough that I have to hang around for 2 hours for them to fit my sensors. 😡😡😡
that's a bit of headache, I wish I could post photos on this forum of what the dealer in Preston where I got my camper from left in the toilet and under it, there 2 little sort of boxes for storage of toilet stuff etc, I took photos of it and menaced them I would send the photos to every magazine and publications in the land, I got a year supply of toiletries and an extra year warranty out of them. So I still got the photos in case.
Nothing absolutely nothing would or will ever surprise me about how low life so many people who work for dealerships are. In so many cases as you read so very often on these pages even senior management and the owners can't give a second hand stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I didn't have any of those problems as I built my own panel van conversion and am as such smiling from ear to ear.
------------- There is a great World to be found out there, but by the very day, to find where it is becomes more of a challenge!
They sorted it all out! I sent an email to their head office before I went there on Wednesday and they were literally buzzing around me lol. However, rather than the quoted two hours for fitting my sensors, it took FIVE HOURS. FIVE HOURS of waiting. I told the manager that all he has to say to me was that the workshop was extremely busy and it would be better if I didn't wait. Sigh.
The manager was most embarrassed............
However, I am loving my new van and that's the most important thing.
